BridgeWell Driver
Privacy notice
Updated October 17, 2026
BridgeWell Services LLC operates BridgeWell Driver for authorized drivers. This notice explains information used by the Driver app. For ride requests, see how we use booking information.
Information we use
We process account identifiers and email, driver profiles and approved photos, device notification registrations, work hours and breaks, mileage, inspections and defect notes, trip progress, location and messages. Records are associated with the driver account. Drivers also receive the passenger and trip information needed for their assigned work.
We use these records to coordinate transportation, maintain work and vehicle records, communicate changes, resolve service issues and protect the service. Signing out does not close the account or erase work records.
Location during work
In builds with automatic workday tracking enabled, GPS starts after clock-in and the vehicle preparation checklist, with the necessary iPhone permissions. It can continue while the phone is locked, during breaks and while parked. It supports dispatch visibility, pickup verification and arrival estimates. Confirming clock-out stops collection on the phone; an offline clock-out remains pending until the server can reconcile it.
You control location permission and Precise Location in iPhone Settings. Missing permission can block trip actions. Network loss and system restrictions can interrupt updates. The app cannot override your phone’s privacy settings. Builds without workday tracking may use location only for pickup verification; the app’s Account screen describes the enabled behavior.
The latest live position is separate from retained trip-arrival evidence. Current positions are replaced as updates arrive and cleared through session or trip cleanup. Stopping GPS does not erase arrival records, backup copies or other operational evidence.
Information on your phone
Authentication uses Keychain-backed storage. An unresolved clock-out request can remain on the phone with its time, ending mileage and work explanation until reconciliation. Passenger details are held for display and hidden when the app moves to the background; this does not delete server records.
Notification permission is optional. Turning it off or signing out stops delivery after the registration change is processed. This does not delete all notification records. Check My day for current assignments.
Keeping and removing records
Retention depends on the record’s purpose and applicable work, billing, safety, contractual and legal obligations, including unresolved disputes and preservation requirements. BridgeWell is establishing its category-specific retention schedule. Deletion is not automated across all record categories. Account deactivation, notification revocation and deletion are separate actions.
Privacy questions and requests
Email ride@bridgewellmobility.com to ask about your information or request access, correction, account closure or deletion. Benard Byekwaso is the initial privacy-request owner. Include the request type and account contact address; do not send passwords, verification codes, medical documents or passenger details in the initial email.
We verify identity through an appropriate existing contact channel before disclosure or account changes. We assess the request against applicable rights and recordkeeping obligations, coordinate relevant provider actions, and explain the outcome and any information that must be retained. Contact the same address if you believe a request was handled incorrectly.
Changes to this notice
We update this notice when our practices change and obtain any additional permission required. A privacy notice does not itself provide consent.
