Why BridgeWell Exists
Getting to medical care, school, or other important destinations should not depend on whether conventional transportation can accommodate a person’s mobility and support needs. Yet many riders require more accessibility, assistance, or coordination than a standard ride provides. BridgeWell Mobility exists to help close that gap and make important destinations more accessible.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to connect people and communities through compassionate, accessible, and thoughtfully coordinated transportation—centered on the person taking the trip.
Who We Serve
BridgeWell serves riders and the people who arrange transportation on their behalf, including families, caregivers, healthcare providers, schools, residential communities, and other organizations. We work to understand each rider’s stated mobility and support needs so that transportation can be coordinated accordingly.
How We Approach Mobility

- Accessibility — considering the mobility equipment, vehicle access, and support a rider may need.
- Safety-minded service — approaching each trip with preparation, care, and attention to rider needs.

Transportation Designed Around People
People do not all travel in the same way. Some riders use wheelchairs. Others travel ambulatory, need reclining mobility support, or require additional assistance and coordination. BridgeWell works to understand those differences and arrange transportation appropriate to the service requested and the rider’s stated needs.
Our Direction
BridgeWell Mobility is working to improve how specialized and nonemergency medical transportation is accessed and coordinated for communities across Washington. We are building toward a future in which arranging the right transportation is simpler for riders, families, caregivers, and organizations—and better connected from the initial request through the completed trip.
